Three Girls and a Beach

As is true with so many early summer visitors to the coast, B.B. was utterly confused by the lack of sun in "Sunny California." She'd never heard of marine layer, but she got a pretty good taste of it, from the dew on her sleeping bag in the morning after a night camping under the stars to our day at the beach. Yep, with so much more on our plate, we only managed one beach day this week. But we took her to the best kid beach in the area - Avila.



There's nothing like having a pair of 10/11 year old girls together to demonstrate just how precious these sunset days of castle building are becoming. They do grow up too quickly, even when you spend just about all your waking hours with them.
